What we're looking for We're looking for a senior level developer with experience in crafting high-performance, intuitive web applications, to lead our technology team. You should have a minimum 3 years experience working with RoR and experience leading and inspiring talented teams of developers in an agile environment. - Demonstrable experience building top-class, consumer web application interfaces - Experience with web/REST services with Rails, UNIX/Linux, MySQL, Apache, XML, JSON, JavaScript, AJAX - Curious, in new technologies and the impact they have as well as complementary disciplines - Experience with Git and Github - Test driven development - Pro-active approach - Attention to detail and pride in work that is committed - Interest in social technologies and trends - Comfortable and confident speaking with clients/stakeholders - Aware of commercial/business constraints to help prioritise/focus deliverables - Strong command of web standards and best practices - Worked in a fast paced agile environment with continuous integration, unit/integration/load/performance testing You will be expected to have a strong interest and play a key role in driving the direction the business develops in. We know you'll be looking for more than a competitive salary so we hope that autonomy, flexibility and a variety of projects to work on will interest you in the position.
