Working With Rails

LAMP and Rails developer (and a bit of graphics, 3D and music production…) living in the wonderful rural city of Sheffield.

For over 7 years i’ve worked in web development for over in both hands on development and team leadership / management roles. The release of Rails has for me, like many others in the development community, given meaning to the madness. Code is interesting again.

A few mini-projects:

• My evaluation of development process, comparing the various tools and the various methodologies. In essence, agile rocks. But, having worked in large and small teams with internal and external clients, sometimes being anal saves your ass! • eCommerse Rails app. Currently in beta stage. Also on Dreamhost so also very slow.
