I’ve been employeed professionally in the web industry since 2000, using Rails since early 2005. I’ve worked with a variety of languages building a variety of applications from internal Enterprise applications to public facing sites.
I started the initial rhtml.xml file that provides syntax highlighting to editors using KatePart (eg, Kate, Kdevelop, Quanta Plus). The file is currently distributed with KDE thanks Richard!). I’ve started work on the DTEP files to provide other Rails features to Quanta Plus.
I have also contributed patches to Rubygems such as amazon-ecs, and soon will be releasing my first plugin (a rake task that crawls your site and generates a sitemap.xml file)
In the near future, I plan on contributing to the rhtml syntax highlighting file for GTKsourceview based editors (eg, scribes, and gedit) as well.
