I am the founder of Maintainable Software, a software development consultancy. We’ve delivered projects ranging from large-scale manufacturing automation down to small websites. You can see some of our work and we come with excellent references. Contact us about your next project.
I coauthored the book Rails for PHP Developers, published by the Pragmatic Programmers. I’ve also contributed to numerous other books over the years.
My Rails contributions include multiple patches to Rails core, such as a popular one to enable easier creation of custom rescue templates. I am also a Rails hackfest winner.
I have authored of various articles and tutorials about Rails, as well as Rails plugins and other open source software. I am also very active outside of the Ruby space.
In the past, I’ve held senior engineering positions at several companies including Flextronics, Zend Technologies, and Instrumentation Engineering.
I currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area where I am a member of the local Ruby meetup groups. In my spare time, I like to work on electronic projects. See some of them at Mike Naberezny’s Flickr photos.
