Steve offers Rails training and contract development services from a base in Munich, Germany. Past commercial Rails projects include a baby blog site and a celebrity charity news site, both entirely built by a team of one.
Current projects include Germany’s largest Rails project (an internal enterprise system with almost 200 models) and a Rails re-write of a product site previously written in PHP.
Steve was a presenter at the 2005 European Ruby Conference, and co-organised a Rails training course in Munich, Germany. He has had various patches accepted into the Rails core, and his Ruby/Rails experience comes on top of 11 years of Python, C++, Perl and Java in various internet start-ups and top companies such as TIBCO and ThoughtWorks, in technical positions extending to CTO level.
