Working With Rails

I’m moving from a background in part-time open source development using C, C++ and Python to professional development. I have spent several years garnering a wide range of IT experience and trying out many technologies.

Have been using ROR successfully and productively for a year or so now and feel a breath of fresh air in the speed and ease of development it offers.

I’m capable of learning new systems and languages currently being fluent in C, C++, Ruby and Python. I have a good knowledge of HTML and CSS. I’m intelligent and learn fast.

I’ve worked for many years in Theatre as a technician and designer, so have decent artistic and design sensibilities.
