So, as I understand it, the hackfest parses the Rails trac tickets to compile a list of who’s submitted what patch. However in the past month, the Rails core team have moved to using Lighthouse and Git – with the trac being deprecated. After a cursory glance, it looks like the hackfest hasn’t been updated to reflect these changes. Any news on when this might happen? -Chris |

Being completely honest, the move from Trac to Lighthouse is a bit of a headache for us. Regardless, this is the situation: The April Hackfest was exclusively Trac-based. There will be no hackfest in May. We hope to have the hackfest back for June, once the integration work with the new Lighthouse system has been done. If anybody out there is a Lighthouse expert, please do get in touch. We could do with some help! |
