| • Rails core contributer | You have contributed to the main Rails framework source code in some way. You can do this by contributing a patch. This could be for a bug fix or adding a new feature. |
| • Written a Ruby gem | You have written a Ruby gem and published it. |
| • Written a Rails plugin | You have written a Rails Plugin and published it |
| • Attended a Rails event | You have attended a Ruby (on Rails) event of some description. For example a local user group meeting, Pizza on Rails , Rails Conf. All provide great opportunities to meet like minded developers and give you opportunities to keep up with developments in the community. |
| • Spoken at a Rails related event | If you have spoken at a Rails related event (as above). |
| • Written a Rails book | You have written a Ruby on Rails book and it has been published. |
