What is the background of the project

Do you run private beta tests of new features?

Yes we do. If you would like to be involved in future tests please check the box in your account page under email preferences.

Where has the initial list of people been sourced from?

The Working With Rails wiki page and the Ruby Forums. See the about page for details on the import process.

Why do some records look strange?

Sometimes a user chooses not to fill in all of the fields other times this is because of the initial import process. The initial import process isn't perfect. Sometimes a company name gets mixed with a location. It just depends how the original entry was created on the wiki to start with.

Do you have any specific areas planned for future development?

We have areas that we will be focusing on improving such as the search mechanism, ratings and the underlying XHTML. We welcome further ideas and suggestions.
